Total active H₂ projects continue to increase globally. At the time of this publication, Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure (GEI) database was tracking more than 1,120 H₂ projects around the world. This is a nearly 7% increase in total active projects globally month-over-month (m-o-m). Western Europe and Asia had the largest increase in total active projects m-o-m, increasing by 7% and 6%, respectively. Western Europe continues to dominate in total active projects market share, accounting for nearly half of active projects globally. Western Europe is followed by the Asia-Pacific region (21%) and the U.S. (14%).
