Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure database is tracking nearly 930 active H₂ projects around the world. This is an increase of nearly 60 projects from data published in the Q1 issue. Western Europe had the largest increase in new project announcements over the last quarter, increasing active H₂ projects to more than 435. Following Western Europe was the Asia Pacific region and the U.S., adding nearly 20 and 10 new projects over Q2, respectively. Globally, nearly 75% of active H₂ projects are green H₂ developments, followed by blue H₂ projects (22%).
