Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announces that its subsidiary NextChem has been awarded a feasibility study by Foresight Group for a carbon capture and sustainable methanol synthesis plant in the ETA Manfredonia waste-to-energy plant in Puglia, a Southeastern Italian region. Upon completion of the study, the successful finalization of the permitting process as well as the subsequent final investment decision, the execution of the engineering and construction phases will be carried out by other Maire Tecnimont Group’s subsidiaries, under an integrated approach aimed at valorizing distinctive skills and competences within the group.
