GenH2 announced that Richard Pratt has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Production. In his new role, Pratt will provide day to day leadership for the Production Department including machinery and tool selection and operation, resource management, policies and process implementation, and budget planning and management.
Pratt will maintain responsibility for fabrication, both in-house and for work that is sourced externally. He will also take the lead in production-related vendor selection and management, in partnership with the company’s Purchasing and Product Management department. As part of the senior leadership team, Pratt will also participate in strategic planning, M&A related due diligence, future facilities’ site selection.
Pratt first joined the company in January 2022 as Vice President of Fabrication and Manufacturing following GenH2’s acquisition of Pratt Plastics, an established fabrication and manufacturing company located in Titusville, Florida. The acquisition provided GenH2 direct manufacturing capabilities with the latest technology in high precision, automated computerized numerical control equipment and laser cutters, in addition to a proven manufacturing process. Pratt Plastics’ background in OSHA safety training, engineering, robotics, rapid prototyping in thermal plastics, and automated processes, also supported the commercialization for mass producing GenH2’s patented infrastructure solutions for the new hydrogen economy.
“Richard has demonstrated the skill, attitude, and initiative that embodies the spirit of GenH2 since the day he joined the company,” said Greg Gosnell, President of GenH2. “Not only is Richard highly skilled at his craft, but he is also a selfless, humble teammate and leader. Richard’s ‘can-do attitude’ and ‘team-first’ mentality have made him a valuable asset to GenH2 and we are excited to watch him succeed in his new role.”
