Nippon Gases and partners establish Terranova Hydrogen NV for green H2 project in Zelzate

Terranova Hydrogen NV is the new company founded by Terranova, Luminus and Nippon Gases Belgium. They are working together to build and operate an installation to produce green H2 at Zonneberg in Zelzate.

H2FLY passes first filling tests with integrated liquid H2 tank for aircrafts

H2FLY has successfully passed liquid H2 on-ground filling tests with the newly developed liquid H2 tank which is integrated into its HY4 aircraft. The efforts are part of the European project HEAVEN, a consortium of five partners to demonstrate the feasibility of using liquid, cryogenic H2-powered fuel cell powertrain in aircraft, led by H2FLY.

thyssenkrupp Uhde to cooperate with IDIP on fabrication of new modular plants for green ammonia

thyssenkrupp Uhde and IDESA Industrial Plants have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on developing and fabricating modules for green ammonia projects. The agreement will focus on the development of a joint project within the sector for the design, procurement, fabrication and construction of modularized green ammonia plants.

 

Hera and Snam partner to develop green H2 production hub in Modena

Hera and Snam's joint project for the development of a green H2 production hub in the municipality of Modena has obtained €19.5 MM in funding from the Regional Council of Emilia Romagna, which were allocated as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

H2Tech: Projects Update

In early March, Lion Energy signed a Heads of Agreement with the Port of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia to lease land that will be used to build a green H2 production and refueling facility. Once operational in 1Q 2024, Lion Energy will supply approximately 420 kg/d of green H2 to heavy mobility vehicles in the region (e.g., bus fleets and heavy-duty vehicles). 

 

H2Tech: Global Projects Data

Total active H2 projects continue to increase globally. At the time of this publication, Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure database was tracking more than 1,120 H2 projects around the world. This is a nearly 7% increase in total active projects globally month-over-month.
