Sisco Sapena launches H2PLT, the company behind Spain's first green H2 microgeneration network

H2PLT, a new renewable energy company based on green H2 and solar energy, just began operations to create Spain's first green H2 microgeneration network. The company seeks to promote electrified mobility and its innovative uses through H2aX applications, and the development of small photovoltaic power plants dedicated exclusively to the generation of green H2.

Nel Hydrogen Electrolyzer AS, a subsidiary of Nel ASA, has agreed with HH2E for a front-end engineering and design study and a Letter of Intent for two 60-MW electrolyzer plants in Germany.

Yara to accelerate the H2 economy in Germany

Yara International plans to modify its ammonia terminals in Germany and will enable handling of up to 3 MMt of ammonia. This equates to roughly 530,000 tons of H2 and will help speed up the H2 economy in Germany.

H2Carrier AS and Anori A/S to collaborate on large Power-to-X project in Greenland

H2Carrier AS and the Greenland based company Anori A/S have signed a Letter of Intent to develop the first commercial wind farm in Greenland with subsequent production and export of green ammonia.

Vertex and Pilkington UK ink major low-carbon H2 supply agreement

Vertex Hydrogen has signed a Heads of Terms offtake agreement for low-carbon H2 with Merseyside glass manufacturer Pilkington UK. St Helens’ Pilkington UK Limited, part of the NSG Group, has led the flat glass sector in the switch towards low-carbon fuels, completing two world-first trials of H2 being fired in a glass furnace.

Niedersachsen Ports, Uniper and TES plan new green gases terminal at Wilhelmshaven

Uniper and TES announced the cooperation with Niedersachsen Ports for the planning of a new large joint import terminal with up to 6 berths for TES and for Uniper. In parallel, Uniper will conduct technical studies that should enable Uniper to import around 2.6 MMtpy of green ammonia.
